FAQ

IF I HAVE MORE THAN ONE STUDENT OR SCHOOL THAT I WANT TO WATCH, DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE A SUBSCRIPTION FOR EACH SCHOOL OR ORGANIZATION?

It depends on the type of subscription you have. A Single School subscription is $29.99 annually and allows you to watch all of the content on your school's channel. This includes live streams as well as videos of past performances. If you want to watch videos of more than one school or organization, you will want to upgrade to a All-Inclusive subscription.

You can choose from two different All-Inclusive payment options.

  • All-Inclusive (annual contract, paid monthly) - The subscriber pays a $9.99 monthly payment with a 12 month committment.
  • All-Inclusive (month to month) - The subscriber pays $29.99 monthly. This subscription can be cancelled at anytime.

Both All-Inclusive subscriptions allows viewers full access to all the videos on SPiN as well as all live streamed events.

IF I AM THE DIRECTOR OF AN ENSEMBLE AND MY SCHOOL CREATES A CHANNEL, CAN I SEE VIDEOS ON THE NETWORK?

Directors of ensembles whose school has a channel are given a free All-Inclusive subscription to view all videos and live streamed events on SPiN.

CAN MY FAMILY SHARE ONE SUBSCRIPTION?

Immediate family members that live in the same house can share a subscription (spouses, students, and siblings.) Grandparents, aunts and uncles, and family friends are responsible for purchasing their own subscriptions.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR A VIDEO TO BE VIEWABLE ONCE IT HAS BEEN UPLOADED?

It varies from video to video depending on which publisher(s) are involved and if the details of the videos are provided ahead of time the performance. The majority of the publishers we work with have pre-cleared their catalogs for SPiN use, and that number continues to increase. One of our biggest priorities is to ensure videos are viewable to our subscribers as quickly as possible.

WILL I BE NOTIFIED WHEN NEW VIDEOS OF MY ENSEMBLE ARE ADDED?

Yes - subscribers receive an email notification when new videos of their favorite ensembles are published.

WHO SHOULD I CONTACT IF I CAN'T FIND A SPECIFIC VIDEO I WANT TO WATCH?

Start by contacting the school or music association to make sure the video has actually been uploaded. If it has, feel free to reach out to SPiN customer support for an update on the status.
